Stephen Burgun, MD, is a University Hospitals endocrinologist with expertise in general endocrinology, diabetes, thyroid disease and thyroid cancer. His positions at UH include Division Chief, Endocrinology, UH Ahuja Medical Center and Medical Director, Endocrinology, UH Geauga Medical Center. Dr. Burgun is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Among other awards and honors, Dr. Burgun is the recipient of the Top Doctors Award, Endocrinology, Cleveland Magazine (2017, 2022). As an educator, researcher and author, he has lectured extensively in a number of academic, continuing education, hospital and community settings and authored peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters.
